Kity is a free, browser-only keyboard navigation extension. We don't collect, transmit, or sell your data. Optional support payments are handled directly by Stripe on their hosted page; Kity never sees payment details.

Kity ("we," "our," or "the extension") provides site-aware keyboard navigation. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our extension.
Our commitment: We do not collect, store, or transmit your browsing activity, webpage content, or personal data.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Kity does not collect, access, or transmit:
  • Your browsing history
  • Webpage content you view or create
  • Text you type or edit on websites
  • Passwords or authentication credentials
  • Cookies from websites you visit
  • Your IP address or location data
  • Analytics or tracking data
  • Device information beyond what the browser provides
3. Information We Store Locally
Stored only in your browser via chrome.storage.sync:
  • Extension enabled/disabled state
  • Theme preferences
Nothing is sent to our servers.
4.Optional Support Payments
If you choose to support Kity, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Payment data stays with Stripe. Kity does not collect, process, or store payment details or personal information.
5.Browser Permissions Explained
  • activeTab: Interact with the current page when you use shortcuts
  • tabs: Target the active tab for commands
  • clipboardWrite: Copy text to your clipboard when you use the copy shortcut
  • storage: Save your preferences locally
Content Scripts: Injected only on supported sites (e.g., ChatGPT) to enable keyboard navigation. No data leaves your browser.
6.Data Security
  • No user data is transmitted to our servers.
  • Optional Stripe checkout uses HTTPS and is handled by Stripe.
  • Extension code is readable and unobfuscated.
7.Children's Privacy
Kity is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8.Your Choices
  • Uninstall the extension to remove all local data.
  • Clear Chrome extension data to reset settings.
9.Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will revise the "Last Updated" date above.
